Best Business Schools In The World | Financial Times MBA Ranking
Find out which business schools top the Financial Times MBA Ranking 2022, as Harvard, Wharton, and Stanford return to participate in this year’s list
Wharton is the best business school in the world—that’s according to the latest Financial Times MBA Ranking, which saw the return of several top US business schools who declined to participate last year.
The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania beat off competition from Columbia Business School, in second place, and INSEAD, who ranked first in last year’s FT ranking, in joint third with Harvard Business School.
Out of the top-six-ranked business schools, only two, INSEAD and Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management, which ranked fifth this year, participated in last year’s ranking.
Stanford, sixth in 2022, joined several big-name US business schools in a boycott of major MBA rankings last year in the context of the pandemic. The FT’s list, however, has regained its credibility this year, providing a valuable comparison tool for full-time MBA programs globally.
American business schools continue to dominate the market for full-time MBA programs, making up half of the FT’s top 100 and seven of the top 10. The UK’s London Business School (LBS), in eighth, and Spain’s IESE Business School, in 10th, make up the top 10 alongside INSEAD.
